Breezeful Brokerage Privacy Policy
This privacy policy describes how Breezeful Inc. ("Breezeful", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our brokerage platform's integration with Google Business Profile.
1. Information We Access
When you connect your Google Business Profile to Breezeful, we request the business.manage scope through Google's OAuth authorization. The Google Business Profile API requires this scope for all access; however, we only access your data in a read-only capacity. Specifically, we access:
- Business reviews and ratings
- Business hours of operation
- Business location metadata (location name)
We do not edit, delete, or modify any information on your Google Business Profile. Our application only calls read (GET) endpoints on the Google Business Profile API.
2. Google API Services User Data Policy
Breezeful's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. How We Use Your Information
The information retrieved from your Google Business Profile is used solely to provide and improve user-facing features on your Breezeful partner page. This includes displaying your business reviews, hours of operation, and location information to potential clients visiting your page.
4. Data Storage
We store the following data related to your Google Business integration:
- OAuth tokens: Your Google OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored securely in our database with encryption at rest and in transit to maintain your connection.
- Cached business data: Business information retrieved from Google may be temporarily cached to improve performance. Cached data is refreshed periodically and is not stored beyond what is necessary for display purposes.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your Google Business data only for as long as your Google Business Profile remains connected to Breezeful. When you disconnect your Google Business Profile, we delete your stored OAuth tokens and cached business data. You can disconnect at any time through your brokerage admin settings. You may also revoke Breezeful's access through your Google Account permissions.
You may request deletion of your Google Business data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will process deletion requests promptly.
6. Data Sharing and Prohibited Uses
We do not share, sell, or transfer your Google Business data to any third parties, including but not limited to:
- Advertising platforms or ad networks
- Data brokers or information resellers
- Analytics providers unrelated to our service
We do not use your Google Business data for:
- Serving advertisements (retargeting, personalized, or interest-based)
- Determining creditworthiness or for lending purposes
- Mortgage underwriting or credit decisions
- Any purpose other than displaying your business information on your Breezeful partner page
Your business information is only displayed on your Breezeful partner page as described above.
7. Data Security
We protect your data using commercially acceptable security measures, including encrypted storage, secure transmission protocols (HTTPS/TLS), and access controls to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Google Business integration after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
